Natangwe Paulus Ithete is the current Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy in Namibia. He is a lifelong SWAPO member, and a dedicated advocate for social justice, youth empowerment, and economic development especially economic emancipation for the previous disadvantaged Namibian 
With a strong ideological foundation in socialism and democratic values, Hon. Natangue Ithete champion the principles of transparency, equality, human rights, and political accountability. His career reflects a profound commitment to serving Namibia with integrity, energy, and a vision for an inclusive future. 
Hon. Ithete previously served as the Deputy Minister of Finance, his political leadership includes serving as a Member of Parliament since 2015, a former Central Committee member of the SWAPO Party Youth League (SPYL), and a former National Executive Member of the National Youth Council. Earlier, he chaired the Oshana Regional Youth Forum and served as Deputy National Secretary of the Namibia Financial Institutions Union (NAFINU).
His academic credentials include qualifications in banking, finance, and human resources.

                     Mr. Erasmus Shivolo holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the New Mexico  Institute of Mining & Technology, Socorro New Mexico, USA (1995). He attended several engineering courses in Geology, Mining and Electrical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado in USA. In 1984 he obtained a National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics circuits from the City & Guilds of London Institute, as well as Trade Certificate in the same course from the Government Technical and Commercial College Ombe, Cameroon. 
                      
   Gloria Namwi Simubali was born on 7th June 1980 in Katima Mulilo.  Her basic education alma mater includes Bukalo Primary School (1985-1986), Mavuluma Primary School (1987-1991) and Kizito College (1992-1996).  She is an alumna of the University of Namibia (UNAM) and the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), South Africa.
                        
                        
                        
                        
                       
                        
                         A well balanced and sage manager with an astute petroleum supply and trading acumen, who can deliver supply and trading strategies and financial objectives of an oil company; a judicious leader that, can solve real-world problems using a vast array of skill sets over multiple categories.
                    Mrs. Miina Auene Gahutu is the  Director for the Directorate of Diamond Affairs at the Ministry of Mines and Energy. She has also been appointed as a   Diamond Commissioner. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Namibia. In 2004 she obtained an MSC in Environmental and Development Economics from the University of Oslo, Norway. Further to that, In March 2008 she completed a short course at the International Institute of Mining and Technology, Kosaka, Japan in Geological Mapping and Mineral Information Management and in October 2011 she signed up with the Western Australia, School of Mines, Curtin University whereby she obtained a qualification in Mineral Resources, Regulation and Management.
                    
                     
                     Mrs Isabella Chirchir
Mrs Isabella Kandjii- Chirchir is the Director in the Department of Mines since September 2018. She was also appointed as the Mining Commissioner with effect from 28 October 2022. Isabella holds a Bachelor's degree in Science which she obtained from the University of Namibia where she majored in Chemistry and Geology. In 2007 she obtained an Honours degree in Geology from the University of Cape town in South Africa. In 2018, she graduated with a Master of Science degree in Applied Geology from the University of Namibia.
                       Mrs Maggy Shino was born on 31 March 1981 at Omaanda village in Omusati Region. She attended primary school at Onangalo Primary School and completed secondary school at Mweshipandeka High School in 1998. For tertiary studies, she attended the University of Namibia graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2003. She further obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Petroleum Geochemistry with the University of Newcastle, United Kingdom, for which she graduated in 2005
